Head of Business Development
As the Bank enters their next phase of development, this role has been designed to expand the Bank’s Retail and Wholesale offering.
You will be responsible to market and generate business with other financial organisations based on the Bank’s full current and future product offering to meet agreed targets. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer and outlined below are key responsibilities:
- Lead business development activities to generate and expand profitable relationships with corporate clients within agreed costs and timescales.
- Identify, build and secure new business opportunities to promote JIB’s full range of products and services and build the brand.
- Expand the in-house product mix with new product planning to bolster growth points in treasury and trade finance products.
- To lead the product design process, secure authorisation from the new product committee and take to market to achieve targets.
- To analyse and improve business results, reporting to the CEO and the ExCo, and communicating closely with various internal stakeholders.
You will have financial knowledge of credit institutions and a banking background complimented by understanding of treasury and trade finance products. You will use your first class communication skills and your experience to build relationships and win business in line within the Bank’s profile and values.
